Catering Equipment Services Limited, 41 Rosetta Road, Belfast, BT6 0LR (henceforth ‘CES’) are the data controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in respect of the personal data which CES holds about you.

Your privacy is important to CES and as such, CES privacy policies and procedures in relation to the protection of your personal data are fully compliant with your data protection rights.

What Information does CES Collect?
CES collects and processes a range of information, including your name, address and contact details (including email addresses and telephone numbers) for the purposes of fulfilling transactional business processes.  CES collects this data via a number of methods, including email correspondence, contractual correspondence, telephone and website communication.

How does CES Use Your Data?
CES uses your data for the fulfilment of business transactions, such as account set up, administration and maintenance, including financial processes; facilitating the provision of CES goods and services; communicating CES company news and promotional information, and; maintaining details of the products and services purchased from CES. CES uses your data only for the purpose it was obtained.

Who has Access To Your Data?
Your personal information is kept secure within CES. Data may be shared internally so that CES can provide you with a complete service. Your personal data may be shared with a limited number of third party service providers for the purposes of specialist service fulfilment, as per your request.  In such circumstances, the data will be subject to confidentiality arrangements.  CES will never share your personal information with any third party for the purposes of direct marketing.

How does CES Secure Your Data?
CES takes the security of your data seriously. Internal policies and controls are in place to ensure that your data is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or disclosed. To ensure business continuity and disaster recovery, CES may choose to store certain data in a third party cloud server, which adheres to the new General Data Protection Regulations.

How Long will CES Keep Your Data?
CES will hold your personal information for the duration of your contract and/or agreement and for a period necessary after any such contract ceases, to maintain customer service.

Your Rights
You have the right to:

  • Obtain the personal information we hold about you by making a subject access request in accordance with the GDPR
  • Correct inaccurate personal data
  • Request personal data to be erased where there is no right to process it or it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected
  • Ask us not to contact you and/or withdraw your consent for marketing purposes
  • Complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office – contact details can be found on their website
